Refinery Supplies Ltd is a specialist supplier of Engineering equipment for the lead, zinc, silver and gold refining industries. We design and manufacture furnaces, furnace settings, lead/zinc smelting and refining kettles, hygiene hoods and platforms.

Our Engineering and Design Department manages each project from initial concept through manufacture and delivery. With more than 30 years’ experience in the sector, we are well placed to support a full range of drawing requirements, from CAD designs through to PDF documentation.
Operating from our modern design office, we have the expertise to design and produce detailed working drawings for all types of lead and zinc melting equipment, as well as a wide range of steel fabrications.
Our purpose-built manufacturing facility is located in Middleton, Manchester, UK, with convenient access to the major motorway network to support the movement of large-scale fabrications. Our highly skilled and fully trained team is committed to delivering work of the highest quality and standards.
The workshop is comprehensively equipped with overhead craneage, submerged arc column and booms, bespoke manipulators, high-specification welding equipment, rotators and positioners, enabling us to handle complex fabrication requirements efficiently and reliably.
We regard heat treatment as an integral part of the fabrication process. To support this, we operate an in-house furnace with fully automatic controls, enabling stress relieving and normalising to be carried out in line with the required specification parameters.
As Fabricators we understand the importance of testing on completed fabrications, including Radiography, Ultrasonic, Dye Pen and Magnetic Particle Inspection. All our NDT is undertaken by sub contractors to ensure the testing carried out is completely impartial.
Inspection is carried out by our own Quality Engineers and also if requested we accommodate 3rd party inspectors to inspect our Fabrications at any stage and our completed Data folder dossiers.
